Hi all
Not sure if this information is useful to anyone - I came across an article in National Geographic, September 1974 about Boston, Lincolnshire. In it the author wrote about meeting John Saul, a tall bearded farmer who had a 3,500 acre farm, 6 miles northeast of Boston. He had reclaimed over 500 acres from the sea and built up a bank in 1971 to help stem the floods. The story remined me of where I grew up on my Saul family's farm on the banks of the Macleay River at Kempsey, NSW. Now, although I don't think this John Saul is a relative of mine, he might be a relative of one of us. Its a nice story, with, hopefully one of our relatives in it.
