Greetings folks!
I hope you dont mind me posting here about a connection between Sewell & Shadwell, from Caxton Cambridgeshire.
One of my Ancestors Mary Shadwell (Amongst many) came from Caxton Cambridgeshire, married a John Sewell from the same place on the 24th December 1855 in Caxton. Mary was the daughter of William Shadwell an Ag Labourer. On the 1851 Census I can see the Sewells and Shadwells living next door to each other.
Although I dont know the religious denomination of my ancestors, they might of been married at St Andrews church in Caxton. Or if baptist at the Baptist chapel which was built in 1845.
If anyone has come from this line of descent, please let me know. Or perhaps If any body has any old photos of some of these ancestors I would love to see them.
Best Regards.
