Sawle from Liverpool & Cornwall

I've never posted anything in my life before so feel at a loss as to what to say...I am a Sawle living in the Falklands - I know there are none here apart from yours truly, and I am pretty sure that we all originated in Cornwall.

My father, William John Sawle came from Liverpool and his father also . I believe that my great grandfather, Samuel Sawle came to Liverpool from Cornwall and worked as a shipwright, but don't really know....thanks Dick Sawle.

Samuel Sawle born Spit in 1868 sounds correct...I have passed the message on to my niece who is doing the research and if I hear anything back from you I will let you know.
