I have traced my paternal line back to John Sewell, born 1785 in Lower Kirkby. Essex & married to Mary Ann (Possibly also Sewell) and, via another thread, to Mark Sewell born about 1768 in Buttsbury, Essex & his second wife Phoebe Cracknell. I have completely failed to take either of these lines further back. Can anyone help? Thanks.
